Aerobic better than weights for appetite
A new research study from the United Kingdom has concluded that not aerobic exercise is better than weight training for suppressing ones appetite. The study examined 11 men (university students) as they ran at a steady pace on a treadmill for 60 minutes vs. resistance training for 90 mins. The researchers concluded that the aerobic workout changed the output of two hormones that adjust appetite and resistance training only changed one of those hormones. While this isn't a direct cause and effect relationship there is hope that doing aerobic training is an integral part in any weight loss program.

Interesting. I find that I'm not hungry at all after aerobic workout, and only mildly hungry after weight training. So, I can see this result happening.

Hmmm. If I do a "fat burning" cardio, even a long one, I am not hungry. But if I do an intense set of Interval training for 45 mins I definitely want food afterward. Weights I can also be hungry but not overly so.
