Healthy dessert and Blood Pressure
A recent study by Finnish researchers found that people who eat a half a cup of berries after lunch and dinner lowered their systolic blood pressure (the top number) by seven points. The researchers determined that it was the high antioxidants from the berries which boosted nitric oxide. This was the reason for the lowered points. You can achieve these benefits by having other types of fruits or berries after lunch and dinner.
